Health behaviour and lifestyle support

Many people struggle with their relationship with food, movement, health and their body. This can be influenced by stress, emotions, past experiences, trauma, social pressures and long-standing patterns that are hard to change on your own.

Jess offers psychological support for people who want to work on:

  • emotional eating and overeating

  • motivation for movement and self-care

  • body image concerns and self-criticism

  • unhelpful health and lifestyle habits

  • perfectionism, shame and all-or-nothing thinking around food or exercise

This work focuses on the thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviours that sit around food, body image and health, using evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR and Schema Therapy.

Jess does not provide diet plans, nutritional advice or exercise programming. Instead, she can work alongside your GP, dietitian, specialist or other health professionals as part of a broader support team.

If you’d like support with the psychological aspects of eating, movement and body image, you can book a consultation.
